GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE IS NEVER OKAY.
We have created tech-based solutions to combat it.

Who we are
Gender Rights in Tech, or GRIT (formerly Kwanele-Bringing Women Justice), is a leading feminist non-profit in the anti-GBV space, that uses innovative tech solutions to improve access to support and justice for survivors.
We work hard to enable access to justice for those experiencing violence through innovative technology, data-informed reporting, and capacity-building.

The criminal justice system is inaccessible to women in need.
Your donation ensures that a survivor in need breaks through those barriers and accesses life-saving support.
For just R250/$13/£10, 20 women get free access to legal support provided by the Kwanele App
R300/$16/£12 provides a trauma debrief session for a survivor
R500/$26/£21 provides a week's transport to court for survivors
